We’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with nearly 100 different Pest Control companies at Smarter Launch (so far). Each founder (excluding myself) has owned or currently owns a pest control company along side the effort of building Smarter Launch to be the proposal software the Pest Control industry needs. We’ve enabled companies to move away from needing to switch between 4+ different types of software just to get a proposal to a customer. We’ve seen companies piece together integrations between various CRMs and workflows that required pages of documentation for new technicians/sales people to memorize in order to create a proposal. Not fun.

That’s what had to be done in the past, and to put it bluntly – it sucked. We built Smarter Launch to alleviate those headaches. Your technicians and sales people can very easily import an existing customer from your CRM of choice (we currently integrate with FieldRoutes, Fieldwork, GorillaDesk, Inspectors Support Network (ISN), and are rapidly expanding to additional integration partners), or simply add a new customer within Smarter Launch and have it pushed over to your CRM.

Typically, a CRM includes some level of proposal functionality already. This generally includes the ability to accept a digital signature, create some form of a diagram, and ultimately a PDF proposal is generated and emailed to your customer. You likely didn’t get the option to modify what is said in the email to the customer, definitely weren’t able to embed a video in it to walk your customer through the proposal, and the customer will simply have an experience just like any other pest control company would send over (except those with Smarter Launch) – but you aren’t just any other pest control company are you?

Here are a few things that you can expect when viewing a proposal within Smarter Launch:

  • An engaging introduction to your company (add a video to introduce the team!)
  • Reviews are imported from your Google My Business listing
  • Diagrams that include photos, map views, measurements, customized symbols, etc.
  • A video walk-through of the proposal that allows you to point out areas of concern during an inspection of the property that allows you to explain the difference of your offering versus what the competition may be offering. This is a great tool to leverage if you were only able to talk over the details with one of multiple decision makers while on-site. You won’t have to depend on your customer’s selling skills in order to communicate your offering to others.
  • Automatic follow-up. If the customer doesn’t accept or decline the proposal, Smarter Launch will follow-up with them for you!
  • Branding. Our software allows you to customize logos, colors, and much more. If you (or someone you know) is the techie type, we offer CSS definition which grants broad styling edits to be implemented into your proposals.
  • A PDF version of the proposal is automatically synced to your customer’s account in your CRM when it is sent out and when it is accepted.
